The reporting year is the year in which the publication appears in a Helmholtz Centre Research Report, and if applicable, is taken into account.

The reporting year is usually the year of publication. However, they may differ for various reasons (e.g. delayed publication, or counting the year granted for doctoral theses).

The library staff will enter the reporting year here. If an entry has multiple years of publication, the earliest will be used.
