Subtype
This is where you enter the subtype, i.e. to differentiate the document type.
For posters, presentations, and non-conference talks, the following subtypes apply:
- "Invited" – The speaker was invited to give a presentation
- "Plenary/keynote" – The speaker was invited to give a special kind of presentation
- "After call" – A presentation given after application to and approval by the event committee
- "Panel discussion"
- "Outreach" – An event held for a non-scientific audience (e.g. at colleges of further education)
- "Other": Any other kind of presentation
For journal articles:
- "Review article"
- "Letter" - communication with editors and/or other scientists
- "Erratum/correction"
For Websites:

- "Brochure": A book with fewer than 49 pages
- "Editorial"
- "Exhibition"
- "Extended abstract"
- "Foreword"
- "Guest commentary"
- "Interview"
- "Mass media": Article in a daily or weekly newspaper
- "Preface"
- "Publication of the patent application"
- "Reference book entry"
- "Standard"
- "Trade fair": Contribution at a trade fair
- "Utility model"
For other submissions:
