ISBN (International Standard Book Number)

This is where you enter the ISBN. Please include the hyphens (e.g. 978-3-89336-714-6).

Import function: If the title is already recorded in a joint library catalogue, the system will suggest a selection of possible books. Once you select one of the books, most of the remaining input fields will be filled in automatically by the system. Please note: An ISBN is not a unique identifier, so please ensure that you select the correct book from the list. New editions of a book are often not assigned a new ISBN, and one single ISBN is frequently assigned to all the volumes of a multi-volume book.
